Firefox 7 is out, One change you may want to make is FF 7 does not show the full URL here is the Fix
How to get full url’s back.

1. In Firefox's URL bar, type in: about:config and agree to the pop-up message (don’t worry about a “guarantee”).
2. Search for: browser.urlbar.trimURLs by just scrolling down the long list.
3. Double-click or right-click and select "toggle" to change the value to “false”.

Here are the changes
Mozilla has released a new version of the open source Firefox Web browser. The update brings a much slimmer memory footprint courtesy of Mozilla's MemShrink project. The new release also includes some improvements to hardware-accelerated rendering on Windows, support for the W3C navigation timing specification, and an opt-in system for collecting performance data.

Firefox has historically been a very memory-intensive browser, but Mozilla has pursued several successful campaigns over the years to keep the RAM gluttony in check. One of the most noteworthy memory reduction crusades in Firefox's history took place during the 3.0 development cycle. The impressive result was that Firefox 3.0 scored better than any other mainstream browser at the time in memory-consumption benchmarks. Mozilla has recently renewed its focus on memory reduction with an aggressive optimization project called MemShrink.

According to some statistics published in the Mozilla Hacks blog, the MemShrink effort and other improvements have led to a 20 to 50 percent reduction in overall memory consumption under certain conditions. The improvement is absolutely noticeable during intensive browsing on my old Mac Pro, which only has 5GB of RAM. The result is considerably less swapping and modestly better performance under heavy load.

Mozilla has released Version 10.0.2 of the Firefox browser. This version contains security and bug fixes. This was a few weeks ago and is posted purely to bring the thread up to date :)

Firefox users who cannot wait to update the stable channel of the web browser from version 11 to 12, can download the new version from the official Mozilla ftp server or third party download sites early. Please note that while it is unlikely that the final version will get replaced in last minute, it has happened in the past. It is recommended to wait for the official release announcement if Firefox is running in a productive environment, or if you do not need to have access to the new feature set introduced in the browser right away.

The majority of features are only interesting for web developers and developers in general. Firefox 12 supports the CSS text-size-adjust property, and the outerHTML property. Developers can furthermore make use of the Style Editor for editing CSS, and the new Page Inspector 3D View which is available if the computer is compatible with WebGL.Firefox 11 furthermore supports the SPDY protocol for faster page loads, and XMLHttpRequest HTML parsing. The change log lists unresolved issues, among them some that have been noticed by some users in previous versions of the browser as well. This includes the slow scrolling in the Gmail window, or jerky scrolling and text input under certain conditions. It is not really necessary to update the browser right now, instead of waiting the three days before the official announcement is being made. It would be different if stability or security updates were included in the release.

I got mine a couple of days ago from File Hippo. Upon startup, it checks for updates & offers to display them, if any. Great little program to have, it keeps on up to date with FF & other browsers, Java, Flash & many others.
