Hello, every day i get at least 1 BSOD on my comptuer. it just started to happen about 3 or 4 days ago.

specs
CPU - i7 920 2.67ghz
RAM - corsair dominator 6gb
Graphics card - 2x ati 5850 (regular clock)
mother board - Asus p6x58d premuim

the files from the diagnostic tool are here: Link Removed

anymore information i will give out.

Solution
For the USB 3.0 Controller, please visit this page: ASUS - Motherboards- ASUS P6X58D Premium
Enter your OS in the dropdown box, then select the USB section.

Update the firmware (the second item in the USB section), then update the drivers by installing those from the first item in the USB section.

Then finish the steps that I mentioned in my previous post (most of the stuff that needs to be removed is still installed).

Analysis:
The following is for information purposes only.

Windows 7 Kernel Version 7601 (Service Pack 1)...
Please:
- open an elevated (Run as adminsitrator) Command Prompt

To do this, type "cmd" (without the quotes) at the Start button.
When the cmd.exe shows up at the top of the search box,
right click on it and select "Run as administrator"

- Then copy/paste the following line (without the quotes)
"systeminfo.exe >%userprofile%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt"
and press ENTER
Let it run until the prompt shows up again

- There will be a file on your Desktop named "systeminfo.txt"
Please upload that with your next post (you may have to zip it up first).
***********************************************************
I cannot read the MSINFO32 file - but was able to view it with Notepad.
Due to the coding, I wasn't able to see everything - but I did scan the major areas for incompatible programs.
Didn't get to check for:
- wireless USB devices
- SSD present (means I'll suggest updating firmware on the SSD and all Controller drivers)
- overfull hard drives (less than 15% free space)
- WER errors (to see any patterns in BSOD's)
- Startup items that may conflict

This isn't a big issue, but on occasion it will speed up the analysis process
************************************************************
Many older drivers that have known problems in Win7:
- Acronis True Image
- Norton (it appears that there's an older and a newer version here - I've posted instructions below on how to fix that)
- USB 3.0 controller drivers
- Asus AICharger

Other older drivers that have occasionally had problems in Win7:
- Virtual Clone CD
- Marvell Yukon wired networking
- Realtek High Definition Audio

1) Uninstall the first group of programs. If you want to use them (after we've finished troubleshooting) download a fresh copy that's certified as Win7 compatible.

For the Norton, please do this:
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free anti-virus for testing purposes: Link Removed - Invalid URL
- un-install the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free anti-virus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

2) Update the second group of programs.

I've included a list of links to help with researching this:
I've removed a lot of the duplicates - so you won't see multiple entries (just one entry that's for Acronis, just one entry that's for Norton, etc)
Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

woah, thanks! i hope this stuff works, but the systeminfo.exe >%userprofile%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt did not work for me, it said invalid arugment.

Don't worry about the systeminfo stuff for now - we can always troubleshoot that later on.
Continue with the steps in the rest of the post and see if it helps out.
Please post back to let us know the results.

I suspect that the problem is most likely with the first group of programs that I mentioned - but it's still possible that it could be with the other stuff also. Some people like to test them one-by-one, while others just want to fix the problem and do all of them at once. It's your choice.

Good luck!

Maybe this will help, I got 3 blue screens in 15 mins. doing exactly this: i start up, open up outlook when windows comes up. In outlook i link and link to the internet through an email and then the blue screen appears. i did this 3 times and it did it 3 times each. If i let the computer sit for a little bit it wont happen, but a blue screen will come eventually

the information windows gives me is this

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

Also i couldnt figure out how to upgrade my usb 3.0 drives, i have a funny feeling this is the cause, because it all started happening 3 days ago when trying to fix my friends usb flash drive. (i plugged it into the computer and i got a blue screen which i have never got beofore)

Please zip up the latest memory dumps (they're in C:\Windows\Minidump) and attach them to your next post
