Windows 7 My LG DVD is not recognized by Seven (7)

My LG DVD Model GH22LS30 is not found by 7. I got it working in Vista just fine. Since 7 can't find the DVD recorder I'm almost dead in the water reinstalling my software on discs. I already checked and there are no upper or lower filers on the normal registry entry associated with this problem. LG has no new drivers. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thanks.
