LINCOLN, Neb. — Police in Lincoln said a man hopped off with a bunny from a pet store Monday night. A clerk at Pet Doctor on North 66th Street told police a white man in his 40s put a lop-eared Holland bunny worth $60 in his coat and took off.
In its place, police said the man left a jackrabbit.
Police said they have an idea who the thumper thief is, but they said he has not been found.
