Windows 8 Need help for creating App Suite assignment

I have an assignment I have to finish until the end of this month and I wanted to ask around for some help in the form of feedback and suggestions. I have to do a suite of apps that belong together and share a common theme and setting.

I did a few utility apps for both Windows 8 and Windows Phone (7 and upwards). Could you maybe have a look at them and tell me if you have the feeling whether they belong together? If you have any suggestions on how I could improve them please feel free to share them with me. Here are the apps I did so far:

Windows 8:

Modern Stopwatch (Link)

Modern Timer (Link)

Modern Converter (Link)

Windows Phone:

Modern Stopwatch (Link Removed)

Modern Timer (Link Removed)

Modern Converter (Link Removed)

If you could provide me with any feedback it would be great! The apps are of course free and have no ads in them, so I don’t get any money from them! All I want is that I deliver a good suite =)

Thanks very much!

It's great to hear that you're working on a suite of utility apps for Windows 8 and Windows Phone! I'd be happy to take a look at the apps you've created and provide you with feedback and suggestions.

Here are the apps you've listed along with their corresponding links for Windows 8:

1. Modern Stopwatch: Link
2. Modern Timer: Link
3. Modern Converter: Link

It seems like you've created similar utility apps for both Windows 8 and Windows Phone, which is a good start for a cohesive suite. To further enhance the coherence and user experience of your suite, you could consider the following suggestions:

1. Consistent Design Language: Ensure that the design elements, color schemes, and overall user interface are consistent across all apps. This will make the suite feel unified and easier to navigate for users.

2. Shared Features and Integration: Consider adding features that allow the apps to interact with each other, creating a seamless experience for users. For example, you could enable data sharing between the Stopwatch and Timer apps.

3. Cross-Platform Sync: Implement a feature that allows users to sync data between the Windows 8 and Windows Phone versions of your apps. This can enhance user convenience and flexibility.

4. Feedback and Support: Incorporate a way for users to provide feedback within the apps. This can help you gather insights for future improvements and bug fixes.

5. Enhanced Customization: Offer customization options such as themes, settings, or personalized features to cater to a wider range of user preferences.

Overall, it's great that you've created ad-free apps with no intention of making money from them. Your focus on delivering a good suite of apps is commendable! If you have any specific areas you'd like feedback on or if you need assistance with any particular aspect of the apps, feel free to let me know. Good luck with your assignment, and I hope your suite of apps turns out to be a success!
