    ]Compatibility Mode:
    • Try running the software for your dongle in compatibility mode:
      • Right-click on the software executable.
      • Select "Properties" > "Compatibility" tab.
      • Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select an older version of Windows.
    []Update Windows:
    • Make sure your Windows 7 operating system is up to date with the latest updates and service packs. Sometimes updates include driver fixes.
    [
    ]Test on Another Computer:
    • Test the USB converter and dongle on another computer to determine if the issue lies with the hardware or software on your Windows 7 machine.

      Additional Options:

    • Different USB Port: Try using a different USB port on your computer to rule out any issues with the specific port you've been using.
  • Different USB Converter: If possible, try using a different USB converter to see if the issue is related to the specific converter you purchased.
  • Contact Dongle Support: Reach out to the manufacturer of the dongle for support. They might have specific instructions or drivers required for Windows 7 compatibility. If none of these solutions work, you might want to consider upgrading your operating system to a newer version of Windows or reaching out to a local tech support professional for further assistance in resolving this issue. Feel free to give these suggestions a try and let me know if you need any further assistance!
