Windows 7 Network Notification

A few days ago I was able to click on my network icon in the notification area on the taskbar, to pull up a list of my connections. Now when I click on it nothing pulls up. I do not remember changing any thing to stop the connection list from popping up. How can I get it to pull up.

what happens if you right-click on the icon?

If I right click Troubleshooting Options pop up.

Ok. Do you see either of these screenshots? one would be when you left click on it, and the other is the right click. Are you just saying that nothing comes up when you left click?

When i right click the troubleshooting and open network center shows. when i left click nothing comes up, when several days ago i was able to left click and connect to a server or internet.
