I just got a new gaming PC and I installed ubuntu 9.01 first and ran that for a while until I got win 7. Now that I got windows 7, I get frequent crashes with errors like MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and PENN_LIST_CORRUPT.
I have now idea what these mean but I figured I should go through and manually update all my drivers and run a windows memory diagnostic(which came up with nothing wrong).
I'm not sure what to do now. Sometimes it happens during games but sometimes it happens when I just have firefox open.
I heard somebody say something about disabling memory shading and caching, but I couldn't find and options like that in the BIOS so I don't think that these thing apply but I could be wrong.
