Yesterday I built a new PC and I've already had two BSODs, one while playing Tribes and the other while simply sending an email. After the first BSOD I removed the beta driver I was using (with Driver Sweeper) and reinstalled the official driver and it seemed to fix some issues I was having, but then this new BSOD just came out of the blue.

Any help would be great.

Specs:

i5 3570k
GTX 680
8GB DDR3
Asus P8Z77-V Pro
Windows 7 64bit

It sounds like you're experiencing some issues with your new PC, especially with the frequent Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) occurrences. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these problems:

Steps to Troubleshoot BSOD Issues:

  1. Update Drivers:
    • Make sure all your drivers are up to date, especially graphics card drivers. You've already tried this, but consider checking all drivers.
    []Check for Overheating:
    • Monitor your system's temperature. Overheating can cause BSODs. Ensure that the cooling system is working efficiently.

    ]Memory Check:

    • Run a memory diagnostic test to check for any RAM issues. Windows has a built-in Memory Diagnostic tool.
    []Check for Malware:
    • Perform a full system scan to rule out any malware or viruses causing the crashes.
    [
    ]System File Check:
    • Run a System File Checker scan to check for corrupted Windows system files. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and type sfc /scannow.
    []Windows Update:
    • Ensure your Windows 7 system is fully updated with the latest patches and updates from Microsoft.
    [
    ]Power Supply:
    • Insufficient power supply or faulty power supply units can cause instability. Make sure your power supply can handle all the components.
  2. BIOS Update:
    • Check if there are any BIOS updates available for your Asus P8Z77-V Pro motherboard and apply them cautiously.

      Additional Tips:

      • Ensure that your system is not overclocked as this can sometimes lead to instability.
      • Check the Event Viewer for more detailed error messages related to the crashes.
      • Consider running the system in Safe Mode to see if the BSOD occurs there as well.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be beneficial to provide more details about the BSOD error messages or codes you receive, as they can give additional insights into the root cause of the problem.
