O.K. -- I am new to this whole "BSODs" world, didn't even know this forum existed until right now; so I will start reading the other "similar threads" recommended. In the mean time, I will still post my situation as noted below.

In the past eight days (since 03-31-13), my system has crashed repeatedly, going to the system error “blue screen” and memory dump about seven times now, basically once daily.

Of those seven crashes, I did not write down the error message on the first two occasions; but of the last five crashes, three crashes had the error “Driver Power State Failure,” and two crashes had the error “Driver IRQL Not Less or Equal.”
Is this a hardware problem (MB?), or a software issue since each error refers to a “Driver . . .” issue?
What steps are recommended to resolve this problem?
Thanks for any help!

Thank you, "jcgriff2." It may be a few days before I can make time to deal with this (already going without sleep finishing tax season), but I will follow your suggestions / instructions and post findings to this thread ASAP.
Thanks again!
