I was shutting down my laptop. At the same time ,i pressed power button and forced
it to shut down. Now my network connections icon in task bar says
"No connections are available". Even though i have LAN connected. Wireless is not working too.Help me out please.

Using the shut down procedure and pressing the power button to force a shut down can cause damage to the system and system files. It's not recommend as this can cause permanent damage.

Have you tried rebooting again? Then, if that doesn't work you can try running "sfc /scannow" in a command prompt window with out the quotes. This will repair any corrupted or missing system files.

Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7
