Windows 7 no sound

Hi, I install window 7 recently, however, there is no sound output. The high definition audio device driver version :6.1.7600.16385 is working properly. When I play a video, I can see the sound driver working, however, there is no output of sound. on either internal speaker or external speaker. Anyone know how to fix this?
