I have recently tried installing Windows7RC 64Bit on my system (i have been running Windows7RC 32bit problem free for around 1 month on a seperate drive) and have encountered a what apperas to be a driver conflict. I have 2 differant wireless network cards which have been installed on the system at seperate times, one is an ASUS WL-138gE, the other is a Linksys WMP54g V1. Both cards can be made to work with the system using either vista 64 drivers or the Ralink drivers, however as soon as i install the drivers for my Nvidia Quadro FX380 network connectivity becomes very slow and unstable or refuses to conect altogether (this is using both the Windows7 beta drivers and the Vista64 drivers for the graphics card)

Has anyone else experienced anything similar and been able to find a fix?

Sysem specs are as follows;

Intel Core2 Quad Q9550
Motherboard -ASUS P5Q-pro
4GB DDR2-800 RAM
320gb samsung spinpoint HDD (system)
2x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green (1 Windows7RC 32bit system & 1 Data)
NVidia Quadro FX380
Network Cards - ASUS WL-138gE or Linksys WMP54g V1

Check for Driver Conflicts: - Open Device Manager (you can press Windows key + X and select Device Manager). - Look for any warning symbols (yellow triangle with an exclamation mark) indicating driver issues. - If you find any conflicts, try updating or rolling back the drivers to see if it resolves the problem. 3. Disable Conflicting Devices: - Temporarily disable one of the wireless network cards or the Nvidia Quadro FX380 to see if the issue persists with only one card installed. - This can help identify if one specific device is causing the conflict. 4. Check Network Settings: - Ensure that the settings for your wireless network cards are correct. - You can also try resetting the network settings or reconfiguring them from scratch. 5. Check Network Adapter Priority: - If both network cards are active, check the network adapter priority in the network settings to ensure the system is using the correct card for connectivity. 6. Check Nvidia Control Panel Settings: - In the Nvidia Control Panel, check if there are any settings related to network prioritization or optimization that might be affecting your network connectivity. 7. System Stability: - Check for system stability issues such as overheating, power supply problems, or any other hardware-related issues that could impact the performance of your devices. 8. Community Support: - Consider visiting online forums or communities that focus on Windows 7 or Nvidia Quadro/FX series to see if others have faced similar issues and found solutions. By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose the issue and potentially resolve the driver conflicts affecting your network connectivity on Windows 7 RC 64-bit. If you need further assistance with specific steps or encounter any challenges during the troubleshooting process, feel free to ask!
