Windows 7 Office Home & Student 2007 - install problem

I am trying to install Office 12 H&S on my new Windows 7 via the CD. after putting CD in drive, i receive a notification FILES CURRENTLY ON DISK (14). i click on setup and i get the rotating circle, but it quits after a minute and it doesnt appear that office installed.

any suggestions?

I install Office Home and Student 2007 on my clean installed 7 and it worked good.
