    Hi all,

I have an old HP PSC 500 (color inkjet/scanner/copier). I realize the HP will not support the old printer in windows 7 but I am wondering if I can load the old XP drivers on the XP virtual machine to get the scanner working?

When I try to start the scanner I get two pop-up windows:

The specified module could not be found

load lib loadlibrary hposcl10.dll failed rval=126

Any help would be greatly appeciated

Probably if you have the drivers for XP. The virtual machine capabilities will be important too. Which virtual machine ? I've had good luck with VMware their new player is now free and will create the VM files. I don't know about Window 7 XP Mode.
