I recently ran into a ton of BSOD's which seemed to be caused by a bad stick of RAM. After discovering this, I removed the stick and installed a fresh copy of Windows 8.

Things have been running smoothly for a few days until yesterday. In the past 24 hours I've had 2 BSOD's.

Attached is the W7F data, screenshots of the CPU-Z information and the PassMark RAMMon report.

I notice your overclocking. Please return to default values until source of bsod is found.

BiosReleaseDate = 07/31/2012
Your bios needs updating and several of the updates relate to system stability.

I know you recently changed RAM, if you still bsod after updating the above, try testing the actual RAM slots.

Hi kemical,

Thanks for the quick response. I'm updating the drivers and will post any new files if it BSOD's.

I would also like to point out that I had run memtest86 v5.0.0 on the two sticks and it made it through 9 passes. Later on I tried memtest86 v4.x.x and I got a single error. Trying the two sticks on one slot, and then trying the two sticks on the other slot, all tests yielded the same error on one of the sticks which has now been removed.

Hi,

After updating, I haven't had any BSOD's to report. Any issues that were there seem to have been resolved. Thanks for the help!
