Hey guys,

I have a Folder

I want to lock and password protect it.

Does anybody here know how?

No one should be able to access the folder
without a password, therefore they can't
cut nor copy it.

But what's more important is I have a
software inside the folder and it has a
shortcut in the desktop, and I want that
shortcut to still work.

Best Regards,
Johzen

    • Every time you want to access the folder, you will be required to enter the BitLocker password.

      Method 2: Using Third-Party Software

    []Folder Lock:
    • You can use third-party software like "Folder Lock" that allows you to password protect folders. This software usually provides more customizable options for protection.
    [
    ]Steps with Third-Party Software:
    • Install the software and follow the instructions to password protect your folder.
    • Move the software's shortcut to your desktop after protecting the folder.

      Reminder:

    • It's crucial to remember the password you set for the folder. If you forget it, recovering the files may be difficult or impossible. By using BitLocker or third-party software, you can secure your folder with a password while ensuring that the software shortcut on the desktop continues to function as usual. Make sure to regularly back up important files in case any issues arise with the folder protection. Let me know if you need further assistance!
