Windows 7 PC shuts down suddenly when playing game

This has happened several times over the past couple days. I will be playing DC Universe Online and my Windows 7 x64 PC simply and abruptly shuts down. Not blue screen, nothing just power off. I have had the system for years and never seen this happen under other circumstances. I don't know how to figure this out at all.

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like it shut down due to heat.
When was the last time you cleaned out the dust and are you getting enough air circulation?
