Hi!
Every time I try to edit videos in Pinnacle Sutdio I get bluescreen after a few minutes?
Link Removed <----- Look at the picture!

SPECS:
Intel i7 3770K at 4,6 GHz
8 GB RAM
ASUS GTX 660Ti

Solution
I didn't find the IRQL error - could you point me to which dump file it came from?

I don't know about the previous history - but the last 2 memory dumps were different (STOP 0x9C and STOP 0xFC). If there were other differences, this could be a low-level issue (which includes low-level drivers or hardware). Also, the STOP 0x9C error was phased out when Vista came out - so there's a serious problem here (it shouldn't be spitting out this error) - but it is primarily a hardware error.

So, start with these free hardware diagnostics: Link Removed

IMO there are some issues with this installation and it may be using a pirated copy of Windows. If that is the case, we may just be wasting your time - as the hacks done to activate it...
Hi,

please read the thread found here and post results:

You aren't unplugging any audio, video, or A/V combination interfaces while it is running in Studio 15, are you?

...and also to an actual dump expert here, I would really like to know if a CURRENT_IRQL of "d" is possible...because the one bsod "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT" literally just gave a current irql of d...

One of them gave back message "Could not read faulting driver name" and also read Adobe Premier to be the problem.

...now 2 of them reading Adobe Premier to be the bad process. Also another showing a problem with USBPORT.SYS

Only 2 of them are reading Studio.exe to be the problem...I think you have something hardware related...as USBPORT.SYS read more than once, and the most recent one reading a fatal error and an irql or "f".

Possibly processor or motherboard error, as I am seeing in the latest one processor banks reading errors...

I AM NOT A PRO AT THIS, I AM SORT OF LEARNING...PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND...

I think I solved the problem! But then I got blue screen again with another ERROR message:

Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump, zip up the contents and upload it with your next post.

RingAnimated - my own system is busted, and I'm using my wife's system. I installed the beta WinDbg and am still figuring it out. I don't believe that the IRQL of d is possible - but it depends on where you it from. I'll be back with more info as I am able to figure things out.

IMO there are some issues with this installation and it may be using a pirated copy of Windows. If that is the case, we may just be wasting your time - as the hacks done to activate it may prevent us from fixing it. Also, if it is pirated, it's against the forum rules to assist with this - so this topic would be closed.

Only 99 Windows Updates after SP1. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips).

You are using a wireless USB network adapter. Windows 7 doesn't like these adapters, and when combined with older (Vista era) drivers they are a known cause of BSOD's on Windows systems. I suggest either using a long wire to connect - or getting a PCI/PCIe wireless card that plugs into the motherboard. They are much more robust, reliable, and faster than the USB one's.

The drivers for these devices haven't been installed. Please install them ASAP:
Ethernet Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&SUBSYS_849C1043&REV_04\3&11583659&0&C8 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&SUBSYS_84CA1043&REV_04\3&11583659&0&A0 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller PCI\VEN_1B21&DEV_1042&SUBSYS_84881043&REV_00\4&11EB9DBD&0&00E4 The drivers for this device are not installed.

SM Bus Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E22&SUBSYS_84CA1043&REV_04\3&11583659&0&FB The drivers for this device are not installed.
The last one is either your chipset drivers or a media card reader - just install both to be sure

Just for information purposes - no need to read unless you're curious:
