Recently installed Windows 7 on 2 computers; one had XP other had Vista. Now using Windows 7 only. Cannot see thumbnail preview of photos in folders. All I see is an icon. I have a thousand icons with the same identical thumnail image none of which gives any view of what the photo is about. Photos are labeled as the camera took them (C007-0001, C007-0002, etc.) Just a useless way to go thru a folder looking for a photo. This is a Windows 7 issue because I have 4 image viewers installed on the computers and none of them can be called on to show a thumbnail view without opening the program. What's up with this insane idea of presenting thumbnails? How do I get my thumbnail views back? Windows 7 loosing favor here.

Did you try UNCHECKING Always show icons, never thumbnails :
