Ohh, looks nice to me. Though I think you should use vista on that machine, as Vista has Ready Drive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Vista_I/O_technologies#ReadyDrive

Also, that computer should be fine for running Vista, so you can get the real experience. I know someone who disliked vista, but got a new laptop with it, and now he likes vista.

Nah, I'm an XP follower, for sure.
It'll be my test machine for iterations of Windows 7 Though.
Readydrive doesn't really apply, as XP runs SSD's fine.

Well, from what I've heard from Paul Thorrott, Vista takes advantage of Hybrid drives better than XP. I would recommend that before installing XP, just use a Vista disk to install Vista without a product key to try it out for 30 days. Then, install XP and see how it goes.

Ah, but Vista still has too many bugs overall.
The slight advantage will be outweighed by the other major disadvantages.
We need a SP2 already. haha

The Q6600 can OC to 3618, however I need to reinstall it to lower temps, I will lap it at the same time. The 8800 GTS 320MB is a temp card, I will either get a 4850\4870 1GB or GTX 280\285, which I will heavly OC.
