Power Plan

High-Performance Plan set CPU speed at maximum, Power Saver set CPU speed at minimum, and Balanced Plan set CPU speed as per applications need means minimum when no requirement, maximum when maximum requirement.

That means the Balanced Plan is sufficient for desktop as well as Laptop. Is it?

Then, What is the need for power plans other than the Balanced Plan? Is there any disadvantage of a Balanced Plan?

The high performance plan won't throttle power consumption the balance plan will, so if you need guaranteed performance such as with gaming or rendering you want to be using the performance power plan.

I read it many places that a High-performance plan with gaming or rendering gives a guaranteed performance. My query is here only.
As a balanced plan increase power as per computation need for applications like Gaming , Then it should also guarantee performance. Why Balanced plan do not guarantee performance here?

Because the balanced plan is always trying to save power. That constant power reduction will cause performance slow downs.
