I have been using Windows 7 for a few days and love it. However I just noticed today that Powerpoint does not correctly go back and forward when I click the side buttons using my external logitech bluetooth mouse. I installed the setpoint software and the all the mouse buttons work in other programs such as mozilla, so the mouse isnt the problem. When I use the side back and forward buttons on the mouse all that powerpoint does is flash and go back to normal. Anybody have a fix?

Test Mouse Buttons in Windows: - Check if the side buttons on your Logitech mouse work correctly in other applications. - This will help determine if the issue is specific to PowerPoint or a general mouse configuration problem. 4. Customize Mouse Buttons: - You can try customizing the mouse buttons for PowerPoint specifically. - Logitech SetPoint software should allow you to assign custom functions to mouse buttons. You can try setting up the side buttons to mimic the keyboard shortcut for going back and forward in PowerPoint. 5. Check PowerPoint Add-Ins: - Some PowerPoint add-ins may interfere with mouse button functionality. - Disable any unnecessary add-ins in PowerPoint to see if it resolves the issue. 6. Use Keyboard Shortcuts: - As a temporary workaround, you can use the keyboard shortcuts for navigation in PowerPoint. - To go back, use "Backspace" or "Page Up", and to go forward, use "Spacebar" or "Page Down". 7. Update PowerPoint: - Ensure that your version of PowerPoint is up to date. Updates may include bug fixes and compatibility improvements. By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue with the side buttons on your Logitech mouse not working properly in PowerPoint on Windows 7.
