The children from Wattville primary school in Birmingham are shown in the four minute clip singing the rock song while headbanging and later engaging in a bit of classic air guitar.

Some of the children even have fake plastic guitars with them as the chant they way through the Iron Maiden tune.

The mixture of girls and boys are clearly having a fantastic time in their school hall, with many getting more than a little carried away with their simulated guitar playing.

The video was uploaded on YouTube on Tuesday and has already been watched by over 12,000 people and liked 280 times.

The song is party of Kerrang’s Cash for Kids charity which is aiming to ‘raise funds for sick and underprivileged children across Birmingham and the West Midlands to help local kids in crisis.’

Viewers of the clip have been more than impressed with the children’s effort, with vikh666 posting on YouTube: 'A better world can really exist.'

cheilanik, meanwhile, wrote: 'What's the address? I want my children to go to this school NOW!!!!'
