Windows 7 Problem: Can't Download!!

Hi, Im starting to get annoyed at how I cannot download anything large, e.g The new software for Ipod Touch 277mb, gets to around 100-230mb then stops and I have to reboot my router since it will not reconnect for internet access. I am on the final and retail Windows 7. Any help will be appreciated.

Can you tell us if you had any Driver Updates from Windows Updates and what those were?

Also,, what brand/model router?
