same problem!!!

Hey laggin,
I have the same problem. I also have upgraded my notebook to windows 7, and my dell printer isn't working now. I also have done the same steps like you, but with out succes. I have the 64-bit version of windows. I aslo dowloaded the driver from dell for windows 7. But after the installation I'm getting alwas a pop-up window, where it say: "the driver for the 926 aio printer is not installed. Please uninstall the driver." I don't know what I should do, any solutions?

Problems with Dell printer solved

I had the same problem with a Dell A920. It did not work with windows 7.
I tried different drivers, but still without succes.

At least I tried the following:
-choose add a Printer.
-then select a printer. (if it is not listed, choose update. In windows 7 you can update the list).
-choose the Dell printer.
-Install
Problem solved!

I hope this will solve other problems.

I have a Dell all in one printer (926 AIO) on my win7 x64. Try the drivers from Dell for your printer. It worked for me.

Before you download your new drivers, be sure to unistall the old drivers.
