Hello everyone,
I recently switched from windows xp pro to windows 7. I need to replace some files in the windows/system32/drivers directory but windows wont let me (i get an access denied notification).
I am already at the administrator account. Is there a way to be able to do this? Is there some kind of security that I can turn off?
I am rather new to the newer security features that microsoft has introduced since I have been a long time xp user.
Thanks in advance for any information,
Gretings, Anouk,

The files are probably in use, considering it is the DRIVERS folder.
Why do you need to replace some of the files in there?
