Hello. I am testing out a brand new HP DT PC (Pavilion Slimline Model s5213w) which comes with Windows 7. I was browsing around the internet the other day when I got an error message that says,....
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
x Runtime error
Program:c:/programfiles (x86) Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
R6025
-Pure virtual function call

Other than that one time message, everything seems to be working ok EXCEPT for some web pages I cannot view as I get a message "need to enable cookies to view this content."
However, I just got off the phone with the HP techies who re-set me and tells me everything is working ok and that my cookies ARE enabled.

Also, another problem I have noted is that I cannot access "Tinyurls." I can go to the Tinyurl site and convert my long ones into tinys, but when I paste them into a browser or try to use them as links it takes me back to the tinyurl site with a message that says "link does not exist."

Now I see I have gotten this error message also "overstack at 66"
What the heck is that?

I have to make up my mind whether to keep this computer or not so would appreciate any advice as to what may be the problem here - laypersons language please. I am basically, computer illiterate.

Thanks!
