Hello,
I booted my work computer up and it was blue screening and restarting. A screen to recover appeared and I eventually got logged into windows but all my settings/icons had gone. I looked in the users folder and there was a new profile there. It was my username with an extra bit on the end for instance my profile name is collinsd and new folder was collinsd.eac . I tried to copy the files from the first folder into the new folder and got my icons back but not the start menu items and other settings.
Anyone got any ideas?
