Windows 7 Properties mistake - now files have become hidden

I was trying to unhide some files and now I've gone and changed some permissions which has resulted in files being classed as hidden. I can see them (they're at 50% transparency) but how do i get them back to being normal?

You can right click the folder its self and make sure the there is no tick or coloured square, OR you can highlight the entire contents of the folder and do the same ( ctrl + A ) if half are hidden and half arnt then the option hidden should be a coloured squarre. The transparanecy indicates the files are hidden BUT you have the option to show hide files and folders on
