It's only messed up the graphics once so far but I am fearing that this graphics card isn't faulty as I've already had to send one back.

My graphics card is an ATI Sapphire 7850, CPU ID didn't recognize it.

It seems like you're experiencing some issues with your ATI Sapphire 7850 graphics card. If you're concerned about its reliability or performance, there are a few steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the problem: 1. Update Drivers: - Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your graphics card. Outdated drivers can often cause display issues. You can download the latest drivers from the AMD website or through your computer manufacturer's support page. 2. Check for Overheating: - Graphics cards can malfunction if they are overheating. Make sure that your system is adequately ventilated and that the graphics card's fan is working properly. You can use monitoring software to check the temperature of your GPU. 3. Reseat the Graphics Card: - Sometimes, the graphics card might not be properly seated in the PCIe slot. Turn off your PC, unplug it, open the case, and reseat the graphics card. Ensure it's firmly in place. 4. Test in Another System: - If possible, test the graphics card in another system to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem lies with the graphics card itself or with other components in your system. Regarding the CPU-Z not recognizing your graphics card, it could be due to outdated software or compatibility issues. You could try updating CPU-Z or using alternative software like GPU-Z to identify and monitor your graphics card. If you encounter any specific error messages or additional symptoms, providing more details can help in diagnosing the issue more accurately.
