Ok i have had this problem since last November when i was still on Windows 7 i would randomly get BSODS at first it was large downloads and torrenting got corrupted but than it was just BSODs here and there. There doesn't seem to be a common theme in it sometimes i'm watching youtube others just reading a article or maybe playing a game the only constant time i get it is when i'm torrenting and i have to restart the pc and when it has to recheck the file before it continues. Also whenever the computer tries to do a automatic repair before Windows starts it Blue screens. Those are the only two times its constant everything else its random.

*Things i have done*
I have reinstalled the OS multiple times on 7 and now on 8
I have ran Memtest for 48 hours straight on all my sticks and did each stick individually in each slot for 7 passes *No Errors*
I have updated all my drivers to current ones
i have replaced the original HDD that was in it
i have replaced the connectors in the pc and put new thermal on my CPU

Your BIOS dates from 2009. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

You have 3 hard drives. What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?

Out of 50 memory dumps there were 11 or 12 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Ok i will do those drivers, My PSU is a Rosewill 500w it is about a year old its model is RD500-2DB I have 2 internal HDDs 1tb & 500gb and i have a USB external at 1tb
I have never over or under clocked my system its just a standard Dell Inspiron
-My Computer came out in 2007-2008 so the 2009 bios update on it is the latest one that is available for my pc
I don't think its malware cause even with a fresh installed system it still crashes

I think it is either Hardware or driver related but i can't seem to find out

Update

I'm gonna remove the Dokan library *it seemed to never have offical support on Win 8 and i don't need it*
The drivers for the modem card i doubt they are the issue since i only recently switched from having the Ethernet plugged directly in to the mobo to having the wireless card *crashes had happened before i installed it and even if i remove it entirely*

Update after updating the drivers, I also ran the HDDiag and memtest again and they both showed no errors and passed. But I'm still receiving BSDOs like normal.

Here is my Minidump folder i will go and do the driver verifier and report back

Ok here is what happened when i did the Driver Verifier whenever i restarted to activate it it connected to my Wi-Fi but said it was only Limited and i could not access the Web or anything after i disabled Driver verifier it worked again so i wasn't able to do anything i knew would trigger a BSOD but i did play a game and got a few Minidumps for you to look at

The Driver Verifier results show that there's a problem with networking - but we don't know what the exact problem driver is.
Please run Driver Verifier again (maybe overnight while you're sleeping) to see if it'll generate a BSOD without your input.

The Dokan file system driver is still installed, You still need to update your wireless networking driver, and you still must updatet the modem drivers - as I discussed previously.

I would suggest removing the software for the dialup modem AND removing the dial up modem from your system.
Your wireless drivers must be updated as they were written a couple of years before Win8 was released
The same goes for the Dokan file system driver.

Since the BIOS is limited to a 2009 update (along with the other issues that you're having) there's a good chance that your system isn't Win8 compatible - and you might consider installing Win7 instead.

Ok i removed Dokan, uninstalled Modem dirvers then physically removed the modem but i cant find any updated Drivers for my wireless card

Latest Ralink RT2561 RT2661 series drivers available from here. There are no Win8 compatible drivers. You may want to try installing them in Compatibility Mode for Win7 to see if they work (although I'd consider getting a new, Win8 compatible wireless card)
MediaTek - Downloads Windows

You'll enter your name and email - and it'll start the download of the latest drivers.

I don't know if these are any newer than your current drivers (these date from Aug 2010) - but it can't hurt to:
- download the fresh copy of the latest drivers
- uninstall the current drivers
- install the freshly downloaded drivers.

Ok i'm back i been busy but i can tell you that lately now watching flash related videos will also guarantee a crash not instantly but it will. i also plugged directly into the mobo with my monitor bypassing the video card to see if that was the cause and it still crashed. i will do the driver verifier tonight and post the logs it generates then

Ok lately my computer has been crashing more on start up before i can even get to the login screen plus the BSOD itself looks all weird and distorted IMG_20130418_175848.jpg

If using the onboard video - please uninstall the software for the video card and physically remove it from the system.
See if that changes the behavior (a broken card can cause problems even if you're not using it).

Ok i removed the Video card completely and it still crashed on me doing the things that normally cause it i also while i was in there tried each stick of ram by itself to see if it was a problem with that despite what Memtest said and still same problem. I tried running ubuntu off my flashdrive and it too has problems crashing so it seems to me anyway Hardware related but what?View attachment Desktop.rar
I attached my current Dump files from today

Since Ubuntu has problems also - it is most likely hardware. Keep close track of hardware that you've switched out (and the results of it).

Start with these free diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics (no need to repeat MemTest86+ if you've already run it for 3 passes)

Post back with the results and we'll move on from there. Please remember that it's possible that this is due to either the outdated drivers on the wireless card, or the outdated BIOS. You can test the system by removing the wireless card and it's drivers - but there's no test for the old BIOS other than another (more current) motherboard.

Prime95 errors indicate a problem with:
- RAM
- CPU (cache)
- memory controller (on the mobo for the Core 2 Duo)

First step is to test the individual sticks w/Prime95 Blend test

You can also run Small FFT's and Large FFT's (which will help to point to CPU or mobo) - but these tests aren't real specific

Then you run several of the CPU stress tests from here: Hardware Diagnostics

The results of these tests will help to confirm which part is at fault - and then you can replace that part as the final test.

As I stated earlier, the Small and Large FFT tests aren't very useful to us.
The results.txt file doesn't say which is which.
For a more detailed discussion of see this page: Prime95

In short, under equal circumstances:
- Large FFT's is either RAM or memory controller (mobo for the Core 2 Duo)
- Small FFT's - mostly the CPU Cache, but also tests RAM

You still have to run Prime95 Blend test on the individual sticks in each of the slots (this will help to isolate problems with individual sticks and slots - which helps to rule out CPU/memory controller issues)
Then you also have to run several of the CPU stress tests (this will, hopefully, rule out the CPU)
