Windows 7 Re: I keep getting 0x00000124 errors..,no BSOD

I too keep on getting this crash error sometimes i dont get to see the error sometimes i get to see it.I get this error mainly when i encode videos or play games sometimes i get this error randomly even at the startup of windows or even during browsing web pages i thought it was a problem with my graphics card but this occured on the onboard as well.

my specs are:
MSI 790GX-G65
AMD Phenom 2 x4 945 processor
XFX ATI 5770
4 gigs Kingston DDR3 RAM

Hello, welcome. I've moved your post to its own new thread because each machine and its conditions are different and must be treated as such.

1) Uninstall Daemon Tools. Then use the installer/uninstaller found here to remove sptd.sys, being careful to click "Uninstall" while using:

Reboot and install PowerISO to replace it. The disc emulation part of the software is free forever:

PowerISO - Create, Edit, Compress, Encrypt, Split, Mount, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter, Virtual Drive

2) Uninstall the XBOX360 controller software, MotionJoy, or similar, to remove this old driver:

I tried all the steps you suggested me i even had removed blackberry desktop manager,removed daemon tools,mcafee but the problem has minimised but today i tried need for speed undercover and i got the error again.Please help me

RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Forums

Check bios settings, should be optimized defaults for all your hardware. Also attach screenshots of CPU-Z - CPU, memory, and SPB tabs.

I formatted my system and reloaded windows 7 with all the updated drivers and ran the torture test every time i ran the torture test as suggested i got the blue screen.I have attached the minidump and the pictures as asked using cpuid.

You memory is set very unwell in the bios and overclocked drastically, causing failures.

Must be set at 667 MHz and not 800 MHz like you have it now.

Best bet is to load the Optimized Defaults in the bios, save, boot to Windows, and post a new memory tab screen shot to make sure changes are well.

If not, you'll have to set it manually.

How can i set the ram to 800mhz i tried searching in the bios and all i found was DRAM ratio which was set to auto and was showing 1600mhz

Come on dude....I said "must be set to 667 MHz"....

Anyhow, if you've used your powers of observation, 800 is half of 1600, which are both wrong.

So what is 667 half of?

I think i reduced the speed of the ram this timp check it out in the pics its 480mhz which is the lowest possible still no effects i still get a BSOD when i run prime95 i have even attached a picture till where prime95 runs and then i get a BSOD

I set it to 9-9-9-24 but a cmos error appears and after that still in cpu id i can se 9-9-9-25.After running prime95 the pc still crashes again.Is there any hope

It should be 9-9-9-24 like I said.

Test with Memtest86+ like that.

I checked it with memtest86 no problems i guess its the processor cause when i ran the rating when it accessed the processor i got a bsod so i guess its the processor
