It seems like you are facing an issue with Windows Live Mail (WLM) on a specific user account on your Windows 7 Ultimate x64 system. Since WLM is working fine on other user accounts that are not administrators, it indicates that the problem might be related to the settings or configuration specific to that user account. Check User Account Permissions: - Ensure that the user account experiencing issues has the necessary permissions to access and run Windows Live Mail. - You can check and adjust user account permissions in the Control Panel under User Accounts. 3. Repair Windows Live Mail: - You can try repairing Windows Live Mail to fix any corrupted files or settings: - Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. - Locate Windows Live Essentials in the list, right-click on it, and choose "Repair." 4. Recreate User Profile: - If the issue persists, you might consider recreating the user profile: - Create a new user account. - Transfer necessary data from the old user account to the new one. - Test if Windows Live Mail works correctly on the new user account. 5. Check for Windows Updates: - Ensure that your system is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Sometimes, updates can resolve compatibility issues with software like Windows Live Mail. 6. Check for Software Conflicts: - It's possible that some third-party software on the problematic user account is conflicting with Windows Live Mail. Try disabling startup programs or running in Safe Mode to isolate the issue. 7. Check Event Viewer Logs: - Check the Event Viewer logs for any errors or warnings related to Windows Live Mail. This might provide more specific information on what is causing the issue. By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue with Windows Live Mail on the specific user account. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you encounter any specific error messages.
