Is there a way to remove that toolbar from folder view in Windows 7? The toolbar immediately under the address bar.

    Screenshot: folderbar.

Welcome to the forums, Openup. :)

There is no easy way, as you'll have to edit system file %windir%\Resources\Themes\Aero\Shell\NormalColor\Shellstyle.dll.

If you want one or two extra lines in winows explorer, why not setting larger screen resolution instead ?

Excellent. I'm fresh off the XP boat and that ugly bastard was killing me.

Now If I could only re-skin or remove the forward and back buttons...

Does this only work with aero selected? I am running classic and it hasn't gone.
