Windows 7 Restart Loop

Ok, I got a new netbook today. I plugged it in and turned it on, but didn't notice that the outlet that I plugged into wasn't working. So the computer ran out of battery and shut down during Windows 7 installation. Now every time I turn on the computer I get this message

"The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation.

I've restarted a half a dozen times and I get the same message. How can I fix this? I don't have an installation CD and there is no CD/DVD drive on the netbook. I do have another computer I can use to download something if necessary.
 
How were you installing, files on the hard drive? What OS was on the netbook prior to the Win 7 install. Is there a recovery partition or procedure?

If you hit F8 during boot, or tap the space bar continuously during boot, does anything different happen?
 
It was a brand new netbook, so I'm assuming it was installing from the hard drive, I did nothing but turn it on. There was no OS on it previously. If I hit F8 it gives the Advanced Boot Options, but all of them result in the same message.

What I am trying to get to is most compurters bought from a normal manufacturer have either a repair partition, or they supply a DVD. If you do not have a DVD drive, possibly it was meant to install another way, like from the net.

Check your owners manual to see if there is a repair or recovery option. Maybe something like an F key maybe F10.

What model is the netbook?

I assumed the netbook would have the OS installed when I bought since it said it came with Windows 7. It's an ASUS T91MT. It did come with a DVD. I'm copying it on to an external hard drive that I have and will see if I can get it to work with that.
 
I will assume there is no recovery option on the unit. I could not find that model, or any netbooks on the U.S. Asus site.

If you have an Win 7 Install DVD, you can put it on a flash drive and boot to it. I do not know exactly what external DVDs cost, but you might look into that.

If F8 doesn't work, do you get the same screen if you tap the space bar continously during the boot.

During the process, can you hit shift+F10 and get a command window? if you can, see if taskmgr.exe will start. If you can get in the command window, post back how much time you normally have to do something.

As you can tell, all I can do is guess right now....
 
Space bar just gives me the option of selecting the OS, and Windows 7 is the only thing that's listed. Selecting that just takes me to the same screen as F8.

Shift F10 takes me to something that says Edit Boot Options. It does have a space for me to enter in a command, but I don't want to screw the thing up even more than it is currently.

Edit: I think I'm just about to give up. I just don't know enough about computers to do any of this. The disc is a recovery disk for the computer. I don't know how to copy it to be able to use it with a flash drive on the netbook. I'll just have to see if I can find a friend with an external dvd drive.

Have you attempted to boot from the DVD and wipe the hard drive then restart, manually, the installation process for Windows 7?

How did you manage to solve this? It happened the same to me, bad electric plug, battery went dead and now i cant boot win7, thanks for your advise. Anibal
