The idiots of other cities have now started too. The bit I really can't understand is why on earth would you ruin your own community or any community.

This is exactly what happens when all the doo-gooder idiots water down all the powers of the police to do their jobs, tie down teacher's ability to punish thugish teenagers in schools, and teenagers in general are taught from childhood that it's ok to be little shits. The Police should have the powers to stem this crap with water cannons, tear gas and batons, to remind the thugs they ARE NOT going to get off likely, looters should be shot dead in the act.
