Pauli Extraordinary Member Premium Supporter Jul 20, 2014 #4 Rootkit is a bad thing, something to get rid of. Not easy to recognize if it's the "Rootkit driver" not installed or, if it's the "Anti Rootkit driver not installed". Unfortunately, XP is dead and gone, its support ended in April this year. XP is a security hazard. You need to go up to at least Windows 7. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/support-windows-7-windows-vista-updates-tech-support,14761.html http://windowsforum.com/threads/xp-support-ends-today.187031/ Last edited: Jul 20, 2014
