In this week's episode of Data Exposed Scott welcomes Joachim Hammer, Principle Program Manager at Microsoft on the SQL Server team. Today, Joachim introduces us to a new feature just released to Azure SQL Database called Row Level Security (RLS). RLS is a programmable security feature that can be implemented on databases to enable fine-grained access over rows in a database table for greater control over which users can access which data. Joachim first introduces us to the concept of Row Level Security and then dives right in to a demo to show us how RLS works and how it can help organizations more easily support organizational or industry compliance policies.
