Windows 7 Scanner Not Supported HP 3770

Hi,

Recently installed Win7 (Pro 64 bit SP1) and bringing on devices from XP. Have found HP don't support the Scanjet 3770 but the Vista drivers seem to work.

However all I can do is scan to a file with Win 7 Devices and Import picture. Is there any way to scan to an App. (preferably Paint Shop Pro 7 which I want to keep using).

I have an old 5470 but HP never wrote any x64 drivers for it. I can use it in Windows 7 32 bit if I run the everything in compatibility mode.

Sometimes Windows has plain vanilla drivers for devices, which might help them work, but will limit their functionality.

I think one solution I tried which was not acceptable for my system was from the link. You might check for yours, it does show it listed.
