Hi! hashir! Please read this and report back on your progress! SFC Command - Run in Windows 10
If SFC could not fix something, then run the command again to see if it may be able to the next time. Sometimes it may take running the sfc /scannow command up to 3 times with Fast Startup turned off and restarting the computer after each time to completely fix everything that it's able to.
If not, then run the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command to repair any component store corruption, restart the PC afterwards, and try the sfc /scannow command again.
If still not, then do a system restore using a restore point dated before the bad system file occurred to fix it. You may need to repeat doing a system restore until you find a older restore point that may work.
If still not, then you could do a repair install without losing anything.
If still not, then you could refresh Windows 10.
PS This is for W10, but a lot of things apply to W7

On Windows 7 and earlier, the DISM command isn’t available. Instead, you can download and run the “System Update Readiness Tool” from Microsoft and use it to scan your system for problems and attempt to fix them.

Hi! I'm trying to help you! What have you tried? How many times have you ran sfc /scannow?
It may take 3 times and a reboot is necessary after each time! Have you tried the Readiness tool?

The tool can take several minutes to install. Even if the progress bar appears to stop, don't cancel the installation.

Hi ! Sorry I don't know! You may have to many errors for any of this to work. You may need the installation media to correct these problems??
Run a chkdsk to make sure you don't have any bad sectors on your drive! This will take awhile, so be patient!
Maybe others will have more suggestions for you latter!

Hi If your lucky, you might be able to down load W7 media here if you have the Windows Key! Then you could use it to repair your system files??? This is is the best I know! Hope some thing helps!!

@hashir: Can you please post back the exact Make/Model of your computer for us? (Dell Inspiron 1545 for example). Also, if you can provide additional specs on your hardware that would also be helpful. We are asking that, because if you follow Holdum's various suggestions to the end, you still may not get it to work if you have failed hardware (such as a failed RAM stick or hard drive). Additionally, and this is optional, you can go to piriform.com and download the free SPECCY diagnostic program. Select to output the result to text file, and post back here for us gurus to look at. We will then have a better picture of your hardware environment with which to troubleshoot.
Once you provide us with the specs on your specific computer, we'll be able to better assist you. Also, if you do solve the problem along the way with one of Holdum's suggestions or something else you uncover on your own, please post back here so that we can share your final solution with other forum members looking for solutions to your particular problem.
