Windows 7 Software Woes

I'm having problems with Windos 7 and programs that I install, or that come with Windows itself. Programs open in the background, instead of the fore-, some programs won't open at all once installed, I can't open my hard drives, other programs will initiate the installation process, but freeze instantly. Any ideas about these problems?

ahhhhhhhh the quirks of using BETA SOFTWARE. even when vista and xp came out for RETAIL. there were lots of things that didn't work for months. and your using beta.

7 is supposed to have some device application built in. yet i can't get my treo 700wx to load drivers. thus i have no connection. and windows mobile device center was slow to install
