    Hi!

I have problem with start menu and task bar which has disappeared. I've tried to run explorer in task manager hoping this will resolve my problem (I've thought maybe explorer exe was corrupt) but no success.

Also I have run my antivirus but system is virus free.

Could you please be so kind to help me with some advice what to do?

    Thanks!

The links may work, but will mostly lead you to suggestions that you have already tried (refreshing explorer.exe etc..), or that you restore/reinstall.

Did this happen after you had installed any new software, or, have you recently changed your screen saver?
    Try these:
Open the task manager - processes. See if you have a running file
called " bxomebc.exe " This could result from a now removed virus. If it is there (unlikely) right click it, to find it's location, and remove it. It is the most common cause of your problem.

It could also have been caused by a similar virus corruption of your registry. Open the attached zip file and run the reg script. This will refresh the Explorer.exe.
