Your description is a little short for us to understand what is happening. Sometimes telling the whole story helps put the events in perspective.

Your system was running fine until _______ ?

If you select repair does it go into the Windows Repair Environment, or do you have to boot to the Install DVD?

I have not seen such a message before, but it appears you are running without SP1, so is this a new install?
