If I am typing a document or doing something with another piece of software (other than my email), and my email client (which is set to check for mail every 15 minutes) downloads some email, the email client takes the focus away from what I was doing. Why is this so and how can I change it? My email client is Eudora.

I do not use Endora, so I cannot comment on how it works, but many of the change of focus complaints have involved and external drive plugged into the system. If you have any such flash drives, you might try removing them.

In fact, that's what I did and it worked. I posted this yesterday - don't know where my post ended up. Than you.
