Windows Vista Still no sound!

I got vista the day it released, and have yet to found a working sound driver for my ASUS motherboard or my soundblaster X-fi music soundcard, this is really start to get annoying and REALLY could use it tonight if possible.

Is there any way I can get sound with microphone compatibility with either one of these platforms?

Hi everyone. I just got vista a few days ago. Its absolutely brill but having another coulpe of problems. I have downloaded windows live messenger. when i try to sign in, it says error .........306. which is due to firewall problems. i dont even have a firewall turned on anyway. Anybody know?? Also i have the no sound problem. I know that its a realtek 7.1 channel high definition audio intigrated sound card, but the 'AC'97' driver software wont install properly??? Anybody Know????????
