storage of code on WHS

#1
I'm using Visual Basic Express and trying to store code, templates etc on a folder on Windows Home Server. It appears that a "//server/...." URL is 'not trusted' by vb.net. I don't seem to be able to access any of the quoted .NET Access/Security tools from Windows 7 beta. Any ideas?

Could you tell me the exact version of Visual Basic?

Is it the old free version that was avail;able years ago, or is it a newer version.?

Hi John,

I've got Viual basic 6 on mine and it works fine.
I did a Google search and only found articles related to Visual Basic 6 running on Windows 7.

Get this one, it talks about Windows 8, yes Windows 8

Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows 7, but Not on Windows 8 - Yes there will be support, but just for Vista's successor - Softpedia

Bad search....Try this link:
Visual Studio 2008 on Windows 7 - Google Search
