I have an HEVC box that I'm trying to get up and running for streaming windows HDMI output. so far i have the analog working on my black magic video card yet i cannot get the HDMI input to work. The PC recognizes the video card and creates an output I have also configured to settings of the output yet it doesn't seem to stream. My guess is it is something to do with HDCP. Also it will work with my Macbook but i really need it for windows. Any suggestions?

When dealing with HDMI input issues related to HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the problem and enable HDMI streaming properly. Here are some suggestions to help you get your HDMI input working with your HEVC box on Windows: 1. Check HDCP Compliance: - Ensure that your video source (Windows PC) and the HDMI capture device (HEVC box) are HDCP compliant. If either device does not support HDCP, it can cause streaming issues. 2. Update Drivers: - Make sure that your video card drivers and any necessary capture device drivers are up to date. Updates can often address compatibility issues and improve performance. 3. Disable Hardware...

If either device does not support HDCP, it can cause streaming issues. 2. Update Drivers: - Make sure that your video card drivers and any necessary capture device drivers are up to date. Updates can often address compatibility issues and improve performance. 3. Disable Hardware Acceleration: - Sometimes, enabling hardware acceleration can cause compatibility issues with certain HDMI capture devices. Try disabling hardware acceleration in the video settings of your Windows PC. 4. Power Cycle Devices: - Turn off both your Windows PC and the HDMI capture device. Unplug them from power, wait for a few minutes, then plug them back in and power them up. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. 5. Switch HDMI Ports: - If possible, try using a different HDMI port on your video source (PC) or capture device. Sometimes specific HDMI ports can have issues with certain devices. 6. Test with Different Source: - To isolate the issue, test the HDMI capture device with a different source to see if the problem lies with your Windows PC or the capture device itself. 7. Check and Adjust HDCP Settings: - Go into your Windows display settings and make sure HDCP compliance is enabled. You may need to adjust HDCP settings in both the source device and the capture device. 8. Contact Support: - If you continue to experience issues, contact the manufacturer’s support for both your HDMI capture device and your Windows PC for further troubleshooting and assistance. By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially resolve the HDMI input streaming issue with your HEVC box on Windows.
