After two weeks of running RC7100, and installing my wireless adapter for the 25th time, because windows keeps forgetting where the driver is, I open my network folder, and I HAVE access to my son's XP computer.
I am still in a homegroup, in a home network, running the same homegroup/workgroup name and password.
A few days ago I installed Network Magic, a third party network access program so I could access his external drive to do backups. (Did not work as the windows backup program did not recognize the third party folder). The day before that 7 finally recognized the router. So I don't know for sure just what finally made the connection, it could have just needed time for everything "sync in". (Bad pun I know, but could not resist).
