whats up win7, i am an xp (among others) user up until now, this is my first venture into a new os in quite some time. i use my pc for game management (im), or i'm trying to, get all my systems/handhelds compatible for full media output between console and pc.

Assuming you've got the right hardware, it'll be a walk in the park.
Windows 7 is by far the easiest way to go about home networking. In terms of sharing media, anyway.
